Stained-glass walk Liège
17 October 2026
The stained-glass walk
On Saturday 17 October, Ars Lucis takes you to Liège to explore this city from a very specific perspective. Because there is a great deal of beauty to discover when it comes to glass!
Of course, we cannot ignore the phenomenal 16th-century stained-glass windows that adorn the churches of Liège. We will also visit the temporary exhibition on Art Nouveau stained-glass windows at the Grand Curtius museum. And in between, we will keep an eye out for other special applications of architectural glass that we come across during our walk.
We will dedicate a full day to all of this, including a lunch. At each location, we will be given an explanation by a guide. The tours are conducted in French, but the guide will be mindful of non-French speakers.
